In our house we have basically 3 meats on constant rotation – Chicken, Beef and Pork. And I love to utilize the ground versions of each. We definitely use other types of meat like turkey and seafood, but not as often. So for this Recipe Collection, I want to share with you my favorite Ground Pork recipes. Ground pork is such a great canvas for so many different cuisines. I hope you find a few on this list to add to your rotation.

If you read through some of these recipes you will see one important part of my use of ground pork is that I prefer to grind the meat myself. It really is a simple extra step that allows you to control the flavor and fillers in your meat. Not to mention save quiet a bit of money in the long run. You can get an easy to use (and store) machine like this Electric Meat Grinder or you can get an Meat Grinder Attachment for your stand mixer. This allows you to adjust the fat content, add seasoning as you see fit and overall take control of the types of foods your family is eating. For any recipe here that calls for “Ground Pork” know that it is coarsely ground pork tenderloin.
And without further adieu – here are the 10 Recipes Using Ground Pork from this blog!
Pork Dumpling Smash Tacos – I am such a sucker for fusion recipes. Tacos are eaten, probably 45 of the 52 Tuesdays each year in my house. And no one wants to eat the same taco over and over. So, I am constantly thinking about different flavor profiles that I can turn into a taco. This time around I took the flavors of the classic pork dumpling and turned it into a taco using the smash taco concept. Pork Dumpling Smash Tacos is going to blow your families mind for sure.
BBQ Pork Meatloaf – When you are looking for some Sunday Supper recipes, meatloaf almost always lands near the top of the list of ideas. And while a classic ground beef meatloaf is always good – I wanted to try something a little different. That is how I came up with this BBQ Pork Meatloaf recipes. It has such a great flavor and goes perfectly with some smashed potatoes and garlic roasted green beans!
Pork Tacos with Corn Slaw – Taco night does not have to be your play old chicken soft taco supreme (unless of course that’s what you are craving). But once you read over this recipe for Pork Tacos with Corn Slaw, you are likely to switch that craving up real quick. The pork has a great depth of flavor that comes quickly – so this meal is a fast one. The recipe I have included my recipe for Spicy Creamy Corn Slaw as well – which takes these tacos to the level for sure.
Baked Rigatoni – Casseroles are a staple of Weeknight cooking. When you add in making your own meat sauce, you are achieving Homemade on a Weeknight. This recipe for Baked Rigatoni is loaded with three cheese, ground pork, pasta, and a homemade tomato sauce, all baked to perfection.
Mexican Breakfast Bowls – Since we raise chickens, we always have a lot of eggs. So often, I find meals to utilize a large amount of eggs for dinner to make sure none go to waste. This recipe accomplishes just that – uses up a large amount of eggs and still counts as dinner. With the combo of beans, pork, bell peppers, cheese, and eggs, you are going to love this recipe for Mexican Breakfast Bowls.
Pork Bahn Mi Burgers – One of the best ways to make your burgers a little more gourmet is to model them after another great flavor profile. And that’s exactly what I did with this particular burger recipe. If your family is like mine and lives for a weekly burger night – then you are going to love this recipe for Pork Bahn Mi Burgers! It packs a delicious flavor punch that will make the tastebuds dance.
Egg Roll Bowls – When it comes to getting take out, I am such a sucker for the egg rolls! That crispy outer shell with the warm and flavorful filling is just so good. But with them being typically deep fried, it an be a bit much. So I started with idea of a way to bake them instead, and then I realized that it’s the feeling that I wanted. Then it becomes how do I get more filling and bam! – Egg Roll Bowls!
Sausage & Peppers Rice – Just like with burgers and pizzas, I feel like you can turn just about any classic flavor profile into a One Pot meal! And that is exactly what I was out to prove with this Sausage & Pepper Rice recipe – an all in one pot rice dish with the classic flavors of sausage & peppers sandwich, right now to the melty provolone cheese on top! The rice does such an amazing job of taking on the flavors of the seasonings to make an almost undone sausage!
Grilled Apple Burger – Burgers are a staple in my house. In fact I recently published my second cookbook – Burgers on a Weeknight! It will be full of different burger ideas – like this one. The Grilled Apple Burger brings together the sweetness of an apple with a smoky gouda cheese for a delightful – and filling – burger!
Spiced Pork Meatball Couscous Bowls – Every so often I get the urge to use a new spice or flavor for my family. This go around it was cardamom. While I have used it in baked goods before, I hadn’t used it in a savory dish for them as of yet. I decided to take it on in a couscous bowl – Spiced Pork Meatball Couscous Bowls to be exact. It does have a few components, but really not that much effort to get them each together.
Hope you enjoyed my selections of my Ground Pork – do you have a favorite? Which one will you be trying first?
