This is a great recipe for family gatherings as well as celebrations like showers for brides or babies. It is an excellent idea for Thanksgiving or Christmas day. It takes just minutes to put together and only 20 minutes to bake. You can also get very creative with the fillings.

Substitutes and Variations:

You can swap out the broccoli for bell peppers. You could also add in some meat like diced ham, sausage crumbles, or cooked bacon bits. And, of course, you could use different cheeses. I just caution you to always consider the water content  of whatever you choose to add in.

Suggestions for Sides:

Some buttered biscuits make a great side for this omelet. You could also serve with a few slices of bacon and maybe some fresh fruit.

Tools that may make this recipe easier:

I suggest using a pizza cutter to slice up the omelet. It makes for even cuts and portioning. You will also definitely want to use the parchement paper and cooking spray. It makes for easy clean up and serving.
