Nashville Hot Chicken Burger

Jump to Recipe

It’s been a while since I shared one of my burger creations. I have been plugging away at writing my follow-up cookbook to my debut tome – Homemade on a Weeknight. The second book is set to be titled Burgers on a Weeknight and it will have 50+ burger creations with homemade sauces, and toppings. I am using a variety of meats in the mix as well. Which is my my Nashville Hot Chicken Burger is perfect for your family and the newest edition to my next cookbook!

Nashville Hot Chicken Burger

If you don’t care for spicy food – don’t shy away from this burger. I do not like to make things that are spicy just to be spicy – you know those sauces and dishes that melt your face off. I like for the spiciness to be complementary and balanced, which is why I like to add cooling ingredients to cut the acidity and just give you that delicious flavor.

I served this up with an easy to make Bourbon Baked Beans – so much flavor without that tin can taste. They give a nice break from the heat of the burger too! It would be great with some Beer Battered Onion Rings or even just plain ol’ french fries!
