Appetizers are one of those food categories that new recipes are always needed. My family likes to do appetizers nights every few weeks. A full meal dining on a variety of appetizers is a fun change of pace for weeknight dinners and it is a great time to try out new flavor profiles with your family. Lots of appetizers are just miniature versions of full dishes.
I have gathered together 9 of the most popular appetizer recipes on the blog. You can check out all the rest here – Appetizers. There are a few staple tools that you are going to want for making many of these recipes. One very important thing is a standard muffin tin (two really), you can use them for much more than muffins! Another thing that comes in handy are appetizer serving trays.
Fancy Pigs in a Blanket – The addition of dijon mustard and sharp cheddar cheese to miniature smoked sausages and flaky crescent style rolls gives you Fancy Pigs in a Blanket!
Quick Shrimp Ceviche – This recipe for Quick Shrimp Ceviche lets you enjoy the delicious Peruvian flavors of Ceviche without risking the mistake of not fully curing the shrimp (or fish) with the citric juices.
Chicken Enchilada Bites – A delightful and easy appetizer or snack full of the flavors of chicken enchiladas.
Simple Cheese Straws – These Simple Cheese Straws are the perfect addition to any appetizer menu. They are light and flaky while still being cheesy.
Italian Sub Pinwheels – Take the flavors of an Italian Sub Sandwich and turning them into two bite appetizers. These Italian Sub Pinwheels are perfect for an appetizer night, pot luck or backyard BBQ!
Bacon Cheeseburger Cups – A fun and delicious two-bite appetizer gives you all the flavors of a fully loaded classic Bacon Cheeseburger, complete with ketchup, mustard and pickles.
Crab Stuffed Mushrooms – A decadent appetizer of baby bella mushrooms stuffed with scrumptious crab meat.
Buffalo Chicken Cups – They have just the right zingy spice from the buffalo sauce and cooling from the cream cheese and ranch. Loaded with both cheddar and bleu cheese – it is such a powerful little bite!
Jalapeno Dill Deviled Eggs – Eggs are such a easy flavor to work with, you can combine them with so many things. Like these Jalapeno Dill Deviled Eggs – a little spicy kick along with the freshness of dill. Just be careful bringing them to the next function – because you will be asked to bring them every time!
Hope you enjoyed my selections of appetizers – do you have a favorite? Which one will you be trying first?
