What’s been going on at Homemade on a Weeknight?
We are in full swing at the pool, and about to have swim lessons start. It is such a joy to see all the fun and memories created by the kids that enjoy our community pool each summer. I also have had a little bit of success on Take 2 of the garden. While are going to only have onions and other root veggies this year – it is still going to be a great addition to our pantry. We are also working a better greenhouse situation so that next year our seedlings will be stronger and fare better once we move them to garden beds.
What have you been up to this past week?
Just #ICYMI – one of the most popular recipes from the blog this last week was this Summer Steak Salad
In case you missed it, here are the recipes that I shared to the blog this week:

Those are some really yummy looking recipes! Our seedlings have not done well in our garden either. We’ve had such a weird spring with random really cold nights and I think they just couldn’t take it. But my son has just been planting some new seedlings and things here and there to take the place of those that don’t look promising.
