What’s been going on at Homemade on a Weeknight?
As many of you know I have been on a journey to master the art of sourdough making. From caring for my own starter ( I actually have two starters – one named Donkey and one named Albert) to playing with different mix-ins and flavor combinations (jalapeno cheddar is the favorite other than plain, thus far). But after all the bread is made – it has to be eaten! And I have been helping my teens learn the deliciousness that is the panini press! You get beautiful golden toasted bread with ooey gooey melty cheese on the inside. Most recipe we made these provolone and roast beef (once I get the recipe worked out, I will share my homemade deli roast beef recipe), and it was so good! What is your favorite kind of panini sandwich?
