What’s been going on at Homemade on a Weeknight?
I’m sure you can tell by now – my life revolves around FOOD! My husband says that food is my love language and I think he’s right. I read cookbooks like novels. I love to watch cooking shows and cooking competitions. I plan vacations destinations based on food I want to try and farmer’s markets I want to visit. So it’s not surprise that even the games I play when I’m trying to pass the time in a waiting room or on hold are also food related. I found this great site that is chockful of so many different types of fun games. I really had fun with the burger stand game (you have to fulfill the orders, exactly, as the patrons walk up. And you have to multitask to get them all done in the allotted time). There is also a sweets shop one that I enjoyed. Do any of you like to play food related games?
What have you been up to this past week?
This last week’s most popular recipe was: Smothered Chicken & Potatoes
In case you missed it, here are the recipes that I shared to the blog this week:

Happy Tuesday, Estelle! Thanks, as always, for hosting each week and for taking the time it requires to do so! We truly appreciate it! We’re sharing #47 and #141 this time!
Oh yes, my sons and I used to play Overcooked on the Nintendo and it was so much fun! Hard, but fun. I tend to be a real foodie too; in fact we’re staying where we are in Acadia because I remember all the yummy food we ate there last year!
We’re back, Estelle, with one more personal post for this week (#166). Thanks for providing the opportunity to do so! Wishing you and your cohosts a wonderful weekend ahead!
