What’s been going on at Homemade on a Weeknight?

Another week, another round of recipes to try out. This last week I really perfected my homemade enchilada sauce recipe, I believe. Also finally got a solid recipe for Cluck Sauce. If you don’t know what that is, it is basically a combination of traditional chicken tender dipping sauces – spicy mayo, honey mustard, and bbq sauce – with the addition of some seasonings and pickle juice. It might sound wild – but it tastes so super good! I know some people don’t care for lots of sauces, but I love them! I feel like a sauce can make or break a whole meal, so I always want to make them a star of the meal and not an afterthought. Do you have a passion for sauces? What sauce can you not live without?
