What’s been going on at Homemade on Weeknight?
The first full week of no one in school and everyone survived it — mostly. We are still finding out new rhythm with all being around most of the day. My son’s are pretty self-sufficient, but my daughter – who’s 12 – needs a bit more engagement from me to make it through the day. We started going for a walk each day. So far she has made cookies, cupcakes and a oreo cheesecake – all from scratch. We shall see what she decides to make next week. Any new routines for your home over the summer time?
