What’s been going on at Homemade on Weeknight?

Winter seems to be holding on for dear life where we live. It’s mid April and we have winter weather advisories and snow and frost warnings. It was 39F when I woke up to take care of the chickens one morning. I’m worried our poor garden might need a re-do if they get frost.

I had a major personal success in the kitchen this week – I finally managed to make a batch of handmade tortillas. They were slightly thicker than I was going for but that’s just being picky. They had great flavor and worked so well for taco night!
