Balsamic Peach Dessert Pizza

A delicious dessert pizza made from homemade pizza dough, mascarpone cheese, brandied peaches and drizzled with balsamic glaze.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 Pizza Dough (makes 2 pizzas) see recipe below
  • 8 oz Mascarpone Cheese
  • ½ cup Pecans chopped
  • ½ cup Balsamic Glaze
  • ¼ cup Basil chiffonade
  • 3 cups Fresh Peach Slices
  • 1 cup Brandy
  • ½ cup Maple Syrup

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 425degF.
  • In a sauce pan over medium heat, add peaches, brandy and maple syrup. Bring just to a bubble and then reduce heat to simmer for 10 minutes.
  • Prepare pizza dough as directed in the recipe below, except bake for 18 minutes without removing from oven. It should be cooked through.
  • Smear each pizza with half the mascarpone then add peaches, sprinkle with pecans, basil then drizzle with balsamic glaze. Let cool for about 15 minutes before cutting and serving.
