What’s been going on at Homemade on a Weeknight?
The mystery of the lack of eggs has finally been solved. Typically, egg production doesn’t start to taper off until the temperatures really dip into the 40s and 50s every day. But over the last 2 weeks, we’ve been collecting maybe half of what we usually do. And this with the 5 newest hens just reaching laying aging. Well, it turns out they have been laying in the chick bin that was on its side facing a fence. Can you believe how many are in there?
