What’s been going on at Homemade on a Weeknight?

And just like that, it’s time to gear up to the start of another school year. I know I only have a few more of these left so I’m trying to savor them as our kids enter the final years of their education. I know a lot of families find themselves prepping for lunches and meals at this time of years by stocking up their freezers – I used to do the same thing when all of ours were in elementary school. As they have gotten older I’ve done it less and less because their eating habits have changed. Most of them prefer hot food for meals, and the schools no longer make microwaves or hot water available. So for the most part they just eat when they get home from school. What do (or did) school lunches look like in you home?
