What’s been going on at Homemade on a Weeknight?

This last week I turned 43! And my family made it a great day – starting with breakfast in bed made by my hubby. He made my favorite breakfast, Eggs Benedict! Then we went on a family hike to a couple of nearby waterfalls – Majestic Falls & Crystal Falls – located inside McDowell Creek State Park. We stopped off a fun Taphouse for a delightful lunch. Then home to relax, enjoy the sunshine, get a few things done at home and then the hubs was back in the kitchen to make me a fantastic surf N turf dinner, complete with smoked corn and potatoes all on our much loved Traeger Grill! It was really was a lovely day.
