Prepare all of the ingredients.
In a large saute pan over medium-high heat, add oil, onions and garlic. Cook for 3 minutes then add ground beef, red pepper flakes and Italian seasoning. Cook until no longer pink.
Add broth, pasta and crushed tomatoes. Bring just to a boil, then cover and let simmer for 10 minutes.
Stir in heavy cream and cheese until fully incorporated.
